Armada
Winterguard closed out an awesome season with a 3rd place finish in the Midwest Colorguard Circuit and an AMAZING tour around
the Oregon School District where they performed SIX TIMES alongside Shadow Indoor Percussion! Great season, everyone!
2010 Armada Winterguard Announces Auditions
2009 is
going to ROCK! Armada Winterguard will be traveling to shows in Wisconsin, Illinios, Indiana, and even St. Louis!
Plus, we will perform not one but TWO seperate shows, giving everyone a chance to perform at a level that they are comfortable
with. Every single 7th-12th grade student in Oregon who dances, cheerleads, does poms, or does colorguard - or who might
even be the slightest bit interest - should come out to auditions. There is a spot for you! Auditions are October
3rd, 2009, from 12 Noon to 3PM at OHS. No matter what your talent level, there is a spot in the Armada Winterguard for
every person - all you need is interest and dedication!

More about the Winterguard Activity
Winterguard, known as “Sport of the Arts” combines modern dance, ballet, acrobatics,
tumbling, and equipment work to create a visual program set to prerecorded music. It’s kind of like poms,
dance class, modern dance, cheerleading, and colorguard all rolled into one! The activity
is gaining popularity all over the country because it’s fun and easy to learn!
Armada Winterguard is for all students currently in 7th through 12th grade. To
participate, you just need to come to Open Auditions. Our philosophy is one of inclusion, so we will take everyone that
auditions unless there are extenuating circumstances (like in case 100 people show up) in which case we'll enroll as many
as we can.
