Oregon has a unique tradition of offering 6th and 7th graders the opportunity to experience marching band for one week in the summer. Recently, this tradition has bloomed into a full-blown one-week marching band experience, and the Armada Cadets Marching Band Members have been welcomed with open arms into the Oregon Marching Band family, regardless of age or the short length of the camp.

Your participation is so important to our program nowadays that the Armada Cadets camp is now a completely separate entity, occurring after the high school marching band season is over! That way we can focus on YOU! You’ll memorize your own show, perform your show in front of a large audience, and even attend social functions with your middle school and high school band mates! Often, the high schoolers even threw a bonfire party for the Armada Cadets Marching Band Members at the end of their camp!!! It was AWESOME! No other program does this and it is an awesome way to play music, march, dance, learn new skills, and meet new friends. All of this and it only takes up SIX SHORT DAYS of your summer!!!
